The phone is muted, the smoke alarm has a dead battery, the only sound is Leicester (and now I can use his name) lying to his son. On the upside Houston is unlikely to remember much of it so he can continue thinking it's Going To Be Okay if your parent tells you so until his 30s. And it's not a bad state of mind to be in, if you ask me.

Life got real in a hardcore way for a while there but I guess I'm back!

@Squirreltastic-Blue: Thanks! I hope so too, life just gets in the way sometimes.

I love how you can go so long between updates and the quality doesn't dip even in the slightest.

And Parks' photo with the christmas cracker crown is choice XP

The atmosphere of their house is very warm and soothing but the way you framed the wide shot panel also gives it kind of a claustrophobic feel, like they're keeping themselves walled in from everyone else... like kind of toeing the line between "cozy" and "our fortress where we're safe." (which is of course penetrated by the pan now on fire lol) Or at least that's the feel I'm getting from it!!!

@mitchellbravo: Thank you! I guess it could be because I'm still drawing a lot between updates, just not this thing... I think I came to terms with pages varying a bit though so that's good, gives me more room for trying new things.

Well, gotta pick the dorkiest photos for the contacts list! (Mum and I both have photos of each other wearing noise cancelling headphones...)

And yeah, you're spot-on. I want their home to be cosy because they are a mostly happy and functional family (especially compared to my other characters) but there's still a lot of unspoken worry there.
